These reasoning and thoughts may appear simplistic but I believe they are implementable”, thus the message from Prof. N.R. Govinda Sharma, Professor – Strategy, SDMIMD, Mysore, while unfurling the National Flag at the 67th Independence Day celebration. 

Prof. Sharma introduced a new school of thought – “Rubanomics” that is gaining ground between rural and urban. He explained ‘Ruban is a person living in rural area but with urban aspiration’. Rubanomics is the study of economics as applied to Rubans.
