| 4th February 2012, Saturday, was the date for SDMIMD alumni meet at the Koramangala Club, in Bangalore. PRATIGAM the alumni meet had around 85-90 alumni gracing the occasion.
The Koramangala Club was all set and geared up for the arrival of the SDMIMD alumni. The meet commenced by observing a 30-second silence in remembrance of Mr. Anil Jagadish of the 2007-09 batch, who passed away recently due to a brief illness. Prof. Malathi Sriram, Chairperson, Alumni Committee condoled the departed soul. Later, Prof. Malathi Sriram welcomed the gathering and gave a brief account on recent alumni activities. Prof. N.R. Parasuraman, Director, shared the achievements of the Institute. Alumnus shared their memories and their professional achievements. This was followed by the views from various alumni to strengthen the Alumni-Institute bond. |

Forming a strong base of practicing managers across levels, working not only in India but around the world, interaction with alumni of SDM-IMD is almost a religion. With students joining reputed organisations every year, the alumni come back, to conduct campus placements, give discourses or just to say, hi! Alumni Meet on campus was aptly titled "Pratigam", meaning "to visit again", the meet was a student driven affair with a new committee, the Alumni Networking Team of SDM-IMD (A.N.T.S) being formed for this very purpose. |
