  1. Invited to be on the Editorial Review Board of the journal – Journal of Management Development, published by Emerald Publishing, UK.
  2. Attended the 5th Biennial Conference held at Shanghai University of International Business and Economics, at Songjiang Shanghai, China on October 27, 2013. The conference was host to premier b-schools from BRICS countries. SDMIMD, PSG, XIME, Hindustan were the premier B-schools participated from India.
  3. Presented a paper titled “Benchmarking India’s innovation capabilities using the Global Innovation Index” at the International Conference on Technology and Business Management (ICTBM 2014) held at the American University in the Emirates, Dubai, from 24 to 26 March 2014.

  1. Has invited as speakers in the HR Meet 2014 in Kathmandu, Nepal. As a Key Note Speaker,  Dr. Nilanjan addressed the gathering on the topic “Strategic Dimensions of HRM’. He was also took part in the Panel discussion on ‘Workforce Diversity’ during the event. The Meet was held on 21 March, 2014.

  2. Presented a Case Study titled “Sakala Implementation in Mysore District – A Case Study” held at the International Centre, Goa, on 24-26 September 2013.
  3. Resource Person for the Moodle Workshop at the JSS Institute on 25 July 2014
  4. Attended the Tenth AIMS International Conference on Management & Presented a paper titled “User Perception in Technology Adoption: A QR Code implementation study in a B-School” held at the IIM-B campus, Bangalore, Karnataka, India, on 7 & 8 January 2013.

  1. Completed an online course on Leadership titled "Inspiring Leadership through Emotional Intelligence” with distinction in January 2014. This course was taught by Dr. Richard Boyatzis from the Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio and was offered online by  Coursera.org. 
  2. Paper titled "Enterprise Resource Planning System Selection by Small and Medium Enterprises: An Empirical Study" was published in "Managing Services in a Competitive Environment", published by AIMS International in January 2014.
  3. Was awarded a Doctorate in Business Administration by the Kuvempu University in Shivmogga, Karnataka for my thesis titled “ERP Implementation at SMEs: Issues, Challenges and Prospects” at the annual convocation held on March 18, 2013
  4. Attended a workshop on Leadership by Mr. Shiv Khera on February 3, 2013 at Infosys, Mysore
  5. A paper titled ‘Enterprise Resource Planning System Selection by Small and Medium Enterprises: An empirical study’ was presented at an International Doctoral Student Paper Competition, conducted by AIMS International, held from January 6-9, 2013 at IIM, Bangalore. This paper won the third prize.

  1. Attended the four day Workshop on “Lectures in Probability and Stochastic Processes” was organised from 6 December 2013 to 10 December 2013 at Indian statistical Institute, Bangalore. The workshop covered two short courses from two eminent researchers in their respect areas. The first one was Prof. Vivek Borkar, who had delivered a course titled “Ergodicity of diffusions and controlled diffusions”. The Second one was Prof. Parthanil Roy, who had delivered a course titled “Nonsingular Group Actions, Finitely Generated Abelian Groups and Stable Random Fields”. Apart from the above, there were short presentations from scholars from different areas of probability and stochastic process.
  2. Participated the Two day Seminar on Probability and Statistics was organised by University of Mysore, held on 5 & 6 November 2013. The seminar had attracted researchers from different fields of research in statistics and provided a very good platform for the researchers to share their view points.
  3. Participated the Conference on “New Directions in Probability” was organised by Indian statistical Institute Bangalore, from 30 May 2013 to 4 June 2013. Experts from different parts of the globe had presented their work and the conference had given an opportunity for the researchers to know the direction in which the area is expanding.
  4. Attended the Workshop on “Heavy-tailed Distributions and Extreme Value theory” held at Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata from 14 January 2013 to 17 January 2013. The workshop was mainly aimed at providing a platform for the researchers in India and abroad to interact and discuss on developments in the area of extreme value theory and heavy tailed distributions. During the lectures, two short courses were handled by two eminent speakers. The first one was Prof. Henrik Hult, who had delivered the course titled “Asymptotics and simulation for heavy-tailed processes”.The second one was Prof. John Segers, who had delivered the course titled “Extremes of stationary sequences: clusters and spectral processes”. Apart from these, other experts from the area had delivered short talks on different aspects related to the theme of the workshop.
