  2. Delivered a talk on ‘Strategic Issues in Leadership' at the Third International Conference on Global Business, Economics, Finance and Social Sciences, jointly organized by SDMIMD, Mysore and J.A. Alpha Business Research & Publishers Pvt. Ltd, held at Mumbai during December 19-21, 2014.
  3. Delivered the special felicitation talk at the First Middle East Conference on Global Business, Economics, Finance and Banking, jointly organized by SDMIMD, Mysore and J.A. Alpha Business Research & Publishers Pvt. Ltd, held at Dubai during October 10-12, 2014.
  4. The article on ‘Are smaller private sector commercial banks in India a likely target for takeover in India? An Investigation’ by  Dr. N.R. Parasuraman, Director, SDMIMD & Dr. Ullas Rao, has won the “Best Research Paper” at the International Conference on Global Business, Economics, Finance and Social Sciences, jointly organized by SDMIMD, Mysore and J.A. Alpha Business Research & Publishers Pvt. Ltd, held at Chennai during July 11-13, 2014.

Delivered an invited lecture on the topic of “Operations strategies for global competitiveness” at the International Conference on Global Business, Economics, Finance and Social Sciences organized jointly by J.A. Alpha and SDMIMD was held at Hotel Novotel in the heart of the city of Bangkok, Thailand, during February 20-22, 2014. In one of the technical session Dr. Jagadeesh presented a paper titled “Performance Assessment and Optimization of Global Supply Chains”.

  1. Attended a program conducted by Quality Circle Forum of India, Mysore Chapter, on International Women's Day, March 8, 2016 at L & T, Mysore.
  2. Attended a Workshop on Communication organized by Toastmasters International in Mysore in March 2015.
  3. Published a book review of Sameera Kesiraju’s book “Life in a Jiffy”  which appeared in 'Star of Mysore' on January 12, 2015.
  4. Attended the Toastmasters International Conference on Communication and Leadership held on November 22 and 23 at the Radisson Blu in Mysore.
  5. Participated in the area level Toastmasters’ contests held at SPI, Mysore in October
  6. Stood first in the Speech Evaluation contest and stood second in the Humorous Speech Contest  conducted by the Toastmasters’ Club in October
  7. Attended a Judges training program conducted by Toastmasters International at Mysore in September 2014
  8. Worked with Rangsons Electronics, Mysore for a duration of 3 months (from April to June) to capture their ERP journey from 2008 to 2014. This is to be converted into two case studies.

  1. A Management Development Program on Data Analysis and Business Modeling with MS-Excel was recently conducted at Mysore Polymers and Rubber Products Ltd.(MyPol) for its executives by Prof. Mohamed Minhaj. The program provided a comprehensive introduction to MS-Excel and helped the participants understand the effective ways to use Excel for Data Analysis, Modelling, and Decision Making.

  1. Delivered guest lectures on Inventory models and queuing theory on 7 April 2014 & 14 April 2014 to the first year M.Sc. Statistics students. The lectures covered two chapters in the syllabus on operations research. He had visited every week to deliver the lectures.
  2. Delivered a guest lecture on Distribution theory to the first year students of M.Sc. Statistics of SDM PG centre, Department of Statistics, Ujre.
  3. The Ninth Lectures in Probability and Stochastic Processes as held at Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata from 12.12.2014 to 16.12.2014. Two short courses were delivered during the workshop. The first one to deliver the course titled “Skorohod Problem and Insurance Models”, by Prof. Ramasubramanian and the second who had delivered the course titled “Long Range Dependence” was Prof. Gennady Samorodnitsky.

  1. Attended an Executive Development Program (EDP) on “Mindfulness for Outstanding Performance” organisined by Justice K.S. Hegde Institute for Management, Nitte on 17. 09. 2014.
  2. Delivered an invited speech on the topic “Central Budget 2014-15” on 16.07.2014. The program was organized by the Institute of Chartered Accounts of India (ICAI), Mysore Chapter.  The presentation reviewed the budget proposals of the Government and its fiscal position. The program was attended by the members of ICAI Mysore Chapter.
