PRAJNA (QUIZ) - Does Grey Matter ?
PRAJNA is a team Quiz where each team will comprise of 2 participants. PRAJNA is a test
of trivial knowledge and aims at evaluating the ability of the participants to accumulate
and retain learnings. The quiz will test the discernment and speed of thought of the
participants in various aspects and to win, they will definitely have to stand out from the
rest.
Rules
Both participants will be from the same institution, however they may be studying
different courses. The same will be proved by careful scrutiny of the college ID cards of the
participants. Any participant found to be in possession of a counterfeit ID will result in the
disqualification of the team.
Use of any pre-recorded data by any means (be it a cell phone, tablet, smart watch and
so on) will result in immediate disqualification of the team.
The rounds of the quiz are clearly structured and the number of teams that will qualify to
the subsequent rounds is well defined. This number may vary subject to the number of
participating teams. However, all decisions regarding the number of teams qualifying will
be taken by the quiz master. No suggestions are welcome nor will any be entertained from
the participants or any other person from the participating institutions.
It is imperative that the participants be dressed in business formals (blazer is optional) for
the rounds that will be conducted on stage (round 2 onwards).
The questions of the quiz are designed so as to cover very general aspects. In effect, no
student from any particular stream of studies will bear any sort of advantage over the other
in the approach to this quiz. It is suggested that all preparations be made with this mindset
so as to have a very competitive event, a true test of your grey cells.
