SAMYOG (The Cultrurals) - The world is your stage
Samyog is an opportunity for the students to showcase the cultural talent in them. The
students can choose to sing, to dance or to walk the ramp in the Fashion Show. Solo dances
and group dances will be judged under the same category. The styles may be western or
classical. There is no restriction on the themes for the songs and the dances. The fashion
show however, must depict one of the following themes:
* NEON
* BEST OUT OF WASTE
* BEAT THE HEAT
Rules
Time for singing and dancing is limited to 4+1 minutes. Exceeding the mentioned time
limit will attract negative grading for the participants
The time limit for the fashion show is 8+2 minutes.
Teams for the fashion show must be a minimum of 8 in strength. This strength can be a
maximum of 12.
Teams are responsible for providing the mixed tracks for the dance or the fashion show
well in advance on a formatted pen drive in mp3 format only, in order to avoid any
technical difficulties.
No costumes or props will be provided by the organizing college. The participants have
to arrange for the same. We will however, provide a room for changing and make up, the
participants will be held responsible in case of any untoward incident that happens in these
rooms.
Decisions of judges will be final and binding on all teams. Any misconduct in this regard
will lead to disqualification.
