Considering the growing significance of Information Technology in Management, SDMites have taken an initiative to form a forum to facilitate discussions, talks by executives from the IT industry and other activities for better understanding of IT. The forum christened as “Club Silicon” aims to maintain and disseminate an updated knowledge base and evangelizing the use of IT in various functions of management. As part of its launch on 9th October 2012, “Technetium” an IT quiz was organized in the campus which involved general, visual and faceoff rounds. The team consisting of Vinay, Nilesh, Shilpa S Menon, Ayush Majumder and Sachin Patel emerged victorious. |
