At SDMIMD, Management Development Programs are designed to provide working executives with theoretical concepts and practices in management. The calendar is generally offered in the month of May, but certain in-demand programs are scheduled again later in the academic year. The focussed areas of MDP include creation of new competencies in managing diversity of business, technologies, organization development people dynamics and global markets. With the integration of general and functional management method the participants gain an inclusive perception for decision-making.
The participants’ experience sharing forms a vital part of the pedagogy opted for the MDPs. The idea is to bring into the class room the varied and rich experience of participants through discussions and amalgamate them with inputs from faculty on the contemporary in the field. The case method of study is the major pedagogy used. This is accompanied with group exercises, role plays, lectures, and presentations by participants. Our MDP programmes are tailored to suit the needs of executives across all levels.
