Objectives of the MDP

Sensitize participants with the basic tenants of business ethics and corporate governance for effective corporate performance. The focus would be on understanding stakeholder concerns and issues for creating ethical culture in organizations. At the same time, the focus would be on outlining the concept and criticality of corporate governance and its regulatory, ethical and social responsibility dimensions.

  • Behavioral Tendencies & Financial Decision Making
  • The Psychology of Cognitive Biases, Heuristics, and Beliefs
  • Evidence for biases in wholesale and retail investors
  • “Irrational” behaviors: why they occur, and why they’re hard to eradicate.
  • The good side of “irrational” behaviors
  • Psychological biases: how to identify them, and what to do about them
  • Client portfolios: how to meet clients’ wants and needs


* Lecture (for making the participants to understand the technical

  • terminologies) and management games
  • Small group discussion and sharing experiences
  • Sharing of Indian research findings.
  • Role plays and structured feedback.
  • Working on case studies

Participants Expected Profile:

Middle level and senior decision makers in the investment & investment advisory community, Portfolio and fund managers, Insurance executives, Financial advisory service providers, Senior executives of companies, High net worth individuals, CAs & other wealth management professional.

Fees Proposed per participant

Rs.2000/- per participant plus GST . The program fee covers Training fee, Learning Material comprising of Books and Hand-outs, Lunch & Refreshments, and Certification.

Corporate discount of 10% will be offered to organizations nominating two or more participants. Nominations to be received on or before May 10 (Friday)
