Workshop on ‘How to succeed through Ph.D. Journey?’
“The award of Ph.D. is not an end of academic research journey. On the contrary,  it is the beginning of  the pursuit of findings to support decision-makers “thus said Dr. N.R. Parasuraman, Director, SDMIMD during the inauguration of the workshop on ‘How to succeed through Ph.D. Journey?’ held on May 18, 2018.
Researchers should take the support of technological tools and rich resources available in the electronic database in bring out quality research.
Expressing his concern on standards of research, the key resource person of the workshop Dr. R. Jagadeesh, Professor of Operations, SDMIMD, said that although the number of Ph.D. degrees awarded in the country has gone up in the recent times, the quality of research has notably gone down.
