The technical session speaker Mr Manoj Pasangha, Senior Vice President, Bharat Financial Inclusion Limited, Hyderabad, emphasised about the growth and importance of microfinance industries in India. Speaking on the Day-One of the International Finance Conference 2017 on August 18, 2017, shared his views on the development in technology which is leveraged to make the banking procedure more efficient and effective. Mr Manoj shared the success story about SKS Finance, biggest microfinance organisation in the country and its strategic reforms in the rural areas of India. Further, he discussed on how the organisation was successful in empowering women during demonetisation by enabling them to adopt technology in their monetary transactions. |
