Debate Competition 2016

Prof. Y. Bhagavan Memorial National Level Debate was organized by SDMIMD in collaboration with Rotary Mid-town Mysore during Feb 27 & 28, 2016 at SDMIMD.

 

Inaugurating the competition Mr. Niranjan Nikam, Senior Journalist & Consultant – University of Mysore Centenary Celebrations, said ‘The debates, the dissents, the arguments, the counter arguments, are all part of growing up. Not claiming that ‘my ideology is the best’, understanding, absorbing, assimilating all with a fresh and open mind is essential. The moment the mind becomes rigid, then the loser is none other than you yourself. You close your mind to all thoughts, views, opinions, ideas and the world passes you by.
