Ltd, Chennai jointly organized the International Symposium on Emerging Trends in Social Science Research during April 3 to 5, 2015 at Chennai. Prof. Antony Paulraj, University of Southern Denmark, inaugurated the Symposium and delivered the Keynote Address. Prof. N.R. The symposium attracted several research papers from academicians on the theme across the globe. The workshop on the conference theme, panel discussion and the excursion to tourist spots in Chennai were the part of the symposium.
Dr. Elango Regaswamy, Professor-Finance, British University in Dubai delivered the special talk and moderated the workshop.
Two of the faculty from SDMIMD - Dr. G. Srilakshminarayana and Dr. B. Venkatraja presented papers on "On Importance of Normality Assumption in Using a T-Test: One Sample and Two Sample Cases" and "Does Export-led Growth Strategy Sustain? An Aggregate Demand Dimension: China’s Experience; India’s Lessons" respectively, in the symposium and these were well received.
