About the Conference

In the ever-changing business context, Human Resource Management has been playing the role of the key differentiator in business growth, development and survival for firms. Along with addressing functional issues, HRM has been contributing strategically towards the return on investment of any organization. Human resource management, therefore, deals with core issues of managing the change in the business processes and aligning the organizations’ systems, structures, and policies to leverage competitiveness, with regard to the operating business environment. The emphasis today is to manage HR functions and policies in a manner such that organizations can be provided with a unique pool of people who can continuously take the organization to new levels of growth and sustainability.

In the above backdrop, SDMIMD is organizing its 6th International Conference on Managing Human Resources at the Workplace, on 8 and 9 10 December, 2017, at SDMIMD campus, Mysuru.
