Library
SDMIMD Library is known as the Information Resource Centre and supports teaching, learning and research by providing 'Anytime, Anywhere Access' to information and knowledge. 
 
SDMIMD Library is a repository of printed as well as electronic resources which include books, journals, databases, AVs, CDs/DVDs, e-books, ejournals, reports, course materials, case studies, conference proceedings and training manuals. Currently the library holds over 14000 books, 70 print journals, provides access to 39000 (EBSCO + J-Gate) e-journals, electronic corporate databases like Capitaline, newspapers and business magazines, abstracts & case study databases, and additional 120 multimedia resources. Being a site licence holder, SDMIMD Library has single click access to all Harvard Business School published materials. SDMIMD also holds institutional membership with other prominent libraries.

Computer Center
Efficient managers are those who can use technology to mould their businesses successfully. With continuously upgraded hardware, software and communication facilities, SDM-IMD is taking the face of management into a new era.
 
Fully airconditioned and ability to serve 90 patrons Computer Center is extending its IT enabled service both on and off the campus.
 
All students are required to use a Laptop for course work. The Institute facilitates students in procuring their own Laptops.
 
As part of its continued endeavour to ensure that its students are work ready from day one of final placements, SDM-IMD will shortly become a member of the Global SAP University Alliance Programme. Complete access to SAP R/3 will then be available on 24x7 basis for faculty and students, with SAP functionalities integrated into various courses both for concepts and methodology. Apart from this, students and faculty will benefit from access to plug and play material, research projects and research funding.
Classrooms
Brainstorming, interaction and friendly debates are encouraged and practiced in areas within the classrooms. The classrooms are also equipped with high-tech support equipment: LCD Projectors, OHP's Computers, White Boards & AV Systems.
Auditorium
The large, acoustically-sound auditorium is a showcase of discourses, seminars, films, presentations and theatre for management and general education. It seats 300 and is a constant witness to cultural, educational and recreational feats for and by the students.
Amphitheatre
The ambience and the structure of the amphitheatre is breath-taking. Over 500 people can watch the cultural extravaganzas produced by students and others. The amphitheatre is also a meeting place where students can relax.
Conference Hall
The plush conference hall hosts a number of special events for guests on campus such as corporate houses, the press and the faculty. Fully air-conditioned, the conference hall accommodates 20 people and it is ideal for laptop presentations as well as smaller group interactions.
Hostel
The SDMIMD hostel is indeed a home away from home. Fully furnished single rooms, lounge/study area, recreational facilities, and a common dining area create a mini world of its own. The facilities in the hostel include broadband internet access, housekeeping, dry cleaning and laundry services.
 
The SDM-IMD Mess is student-managed. The Students decide on the menu, fixed for a week. It caters to around three hundred people, and mixes a variety of North and South Indian vegetarian cuisine. SDM IMD Mess makes the painful process of going from home-made food to the hostel mess very easy.
Yoga hall & Gym
Healthy people make organizations healthy. In the modern global environment, managers need to play multiple roles, which call for multiple skills. To efficiently execute organizational roles, one has to have good physical, mental, social, emotional and spiritual health. Thus, Health precedes everything else. Keeping this in view, SDM IMD has introduced Wellness Management as a Compulsory Preparatory Course for the first year students and as a  2  Credit Course for the second year students. The program will run through the whole year and the credits are taken into account during the 6th trimester. A well designed and equipped "Wellness Center" at the campus offers Yoga, Aerobics, Hi Tech Gym, Table Tennis and Shuttle Badminton. At the outdoor, the campus offers Basket Ball and Volley Ball courts.

SDMIMD IRC is a repository of printed as well as electronic resources which include: books, journals, databases, AVs, CDs/DVDs, e-books, e-journals, reports, course materials, case studies, conference proceedings, training manuals, etc. Currently the library holds over 12000 books, 140 print journals, provides access to 2100 e-journals, electronic corporate databases, newspapers and business magazines, abstractive databases, database pertaining to case studies and additionally, 120 multimedia resources.

SDMIMD IRC is approved by the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development as a Training Centre. The Graduates and Diploma holders in the area of Library and Information Science are trained on the information management and services.

The SDMIMD holds institutional membership with prominent libraries in Bangalore and Chennai.
