SDMIMD campus had turned into a virtual "global finance village" on August 9 & 10, 2013, with the presence of Academicians, Corporate Executives and Research Students from India and abroad on the occasion of 2nd International Conference on Emerging Trends in Finance & Accounting on the theme "Ideas for the Sustainable Corporate Growth".

Shri Koushik Chatterjee, Executive Director & Group CFO, Tata Steel, inaugurated the conference and delivered keynote address. Shri Chatterjee stressed on transparency, accountability and credibility adding that these are the key factors for the sustainable businessgrowth.

The conference witnessed presentation of 68 research papers in the area of finance and accounting by the participants from India and abroad. The discussions during technical session by prominent academicians and industry practitioners was the key highlight.
