SDMIMD started its operations in 1993, intending to extend Management Education to young graduates. The institute’s Foundation Day is celebrated by learning from the success stories of prominent institutional builders and personalities through lectures. |

SDM Institute for Management Development (SDMIMD) student Mr. Alen Johnathen David emerged as Best Manager in the MANNOVEX – the National Level Management Fest organized by JSS Center for Management Studies (JSS CMS), Mysore.
The performance of SDMIMD students in the 5 events – MARKOFEST (Marketing), FINATHMA (Finance), VYAPAAROTHSAVA (Business Plan), MANAV YUKTHI (HR) and BEST MANAGER - of MANNOVEX 2022 made them to bag the 2nd Overall Team during the event held on August 25, 2022. Mr. Srihari H.G. and Mr. Sriram P. from PGDM 2022-2024 came 1st in FINATHMA the Finance event.
PGDM 2022-24 Batch students – Mr. Sachin Kamath K and Mr. Aditya Ravi in Markofest; Ms. Arundhuti Roy and Mr. Aniruddha R Batni in Finathma; Mr. Tushar Nag, Ms. Manaswini Achuthan and Mr. Bethe Jayaprakash Naidu in Vyapaarothsava; Mr. Rajat Shaha in Best Manager; and Mr. Muthanna C.M. and Mr. Chirag Madappa in Manav Yukthi – participation along with the winners made SDMIMD to secure 2nd Position in the Management Fest.
