Dr. Kannadas S. is a faculty member in the area of Finance with over 16 years of postgraduate teaching experience and 10 years of research experience. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from MES College, Bengaluru, and a master’s degree in management with specialization in Finance from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU).
 
He completed his M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Management from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. His doctoral research focused on Behavioural Corporate Finance, with special reference to Indian corporates, contributing to empirical understanding of behavioural influences in corporate decision-making.
 
Dr. Kannadas’ teaching and research interests include Behavioural Finance, Corporate Taxation, Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate Finance, and Commodity Markets. He has presented papers at national and international conferences, including at IIT Madras, and has published research articles in peer-reviewed journals, including ABDC-listed, Scopus-indexed, and Web of Science journals.
 
He has participated in faculty development and training programmes conducted by premier institutions, including senior Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru.
 
Dr. Kannadas has trained senior and middle-level executives from organizations such as Sundaram Home Finance, Kaynes Technology, and Würth Elektronik Group in the areas of Corporate Finance and Cost Management.
 
He has also served as an invited resource person for academic and policy-focused programmes, including sessions related to the National Education Policy (NEP 2020) at Savitribai Phule, Pune University. Dr. Kannadas is a Life Member of the Indian Society for Training and Development (ISTD), India.
