| A two-day online management development program on “Predictive Analytics for Decision Making” was conducted on June 24 & 25, 2022. The coverage included a discussion on the importance of predictive analytics in decision making, an introduction to the predictive models, and the application of predictive models for predicting future events. Predictive models such as Linear regression, Logistic regression, Multinomial Regression, and Tobit regression, were discussed and hands-on experience was provided to the participants. Two important tools, Gretl and JASP, were introduced during the sessions for analyzing the data. Participants were informed on the process of teaching these methods to students, using them in research, and adopting them for consultancy. The MDP ended with questions from the participants. |
