The Outbound Training Program (OBT) for Workplace Learning and Development (WLD) students, conducted on August 8–9, 2025, at LEAD College of Management, Palakkad, served as a vital bridge between classroom learning and real-world workplace competencies. Designed as an experiential learning initiative, the program engaged participants in activities such as trekking, adventure exercises, and strategic team-based tasks, fostering the development of teamwork, leadership, adaptability, problem-solving, trust-building, mutual support, and effective communication. Students experienced decision-making under pressure, gained role clarity, and strengthened self-confidence by overcoming mental and physical challenges. By the program’s conclusion, they demonstrated enhanced self-awareness, a deeper understanding of collaborative dynamics, and greater resilience in uncertain situations, and skills directly applicable to navigating complex workplace environments, and essential for both professional success and personal growth. The OBT is an integral part of the WLD course offered by Dr. L. Gandhi, Associate Professor- OB & HRM, SDMIMD.
