SDM Institute for Management Development, Mysuru experienced one such profoundly moving moment during Pratigam 2026, the recent alumni meet held on campus. The corridors once again echoed with laughter, shared stories, golden memories, and reflections of journeys that began within these very walls. Every corner of the campus came alive with nostalgia, warmth, and pride.

It was a deeply proud moment for SDMIMD to witness its former students—once young dreamers—now standing tall as accomplished professionals, visionary leaders, and change-makers across industries. Pratigam 2024 – SDMites Annual Meet

The SDMIMD Alumni Annual Meet - Pratigam for the year 2024 was a resounding success, held on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at the esteemed SDMIMD Campus. Dr. Sunil M.V., Faculty Coordinator of Prerana - SDMIMD Alumni Association, extended a warm welcome to all SDMites, emphasizing the pivotal role alumni play as 'Valued Ambassadors' in the institution's growth journey. He reiterated their commitment to providing unwavering support, both formally and informally, towards the advancement of the alma mater.

The event commenced with the Annual General Body Meeting (AGM), a platform for deliberations and decisions crucial for the association's functioning. One of the highlights of the AGM was the selection of the Executive Council for the term 2024-26, a significant step in steering the association towards its objectives.

During the inaugural ceremony of Pratigram 2024, Dr. S.N. Prasad, Director of SDMIMD and the Chief-Patron of Prerana, delivered an inspiring address underscoring the alumni's role as stakeholders of the institute. Dr. Prasad, in his discourse, commended the relentless efforts of SDMites in propelling the institution into the ranks of the Top 50 B-Schools in various esteemed B-School Surveys.

Mr. Vijay Mane, the President of Prerana, extended a compelling call to action, urging SDMites to rally behind the association's mission - Connect, Educate, and Network.

The synergy followed this meet that ensued fostered meaningful interactions and collaborations among the attendees, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and shared vision.

Pratigam 2024 was not merely an event; it was a testament to the unwavering dedication and collective spirit of the SDMIMD fraternity towards fostering excellence and enriching the alma mater's legacy. As we embark on a new chapter, we remain steadfast in our resolve to uphold the values of integrity, innovation, and inclusivity that define the essence of SDMIMD.

Pratigam 2015 – SDMites Alumni Meet

SDMIMD Alumni Meet - Pratigam for the year 2015 started with an invocation by Mr. Sharath Deshpande of PGDM 2015-17 batch. Dr. H. Gayathri, Deputy Director welcomed SDMites and stated that Alumni are pillars of an institution. Dr. Gayathri called SDMites as ‘Valued Ambassadors’, committed for extending support formally and informally towards the growth of the institution. Dr. N. R. Parasuraman, Director in his address stated that the alumni are the stakeholders of the institute. In this address, Dr. Parasuraman gave a glimpse about the situation of B-Schools in the country and shared the activities of SDMIMD. He appreciated the effort of SDMites in making one among the Top 50 B-Schools in the country by B-School Surveys and for CRISIL A** rating. In his speech, Dr. Parasuraman highlighted the increase in quality research output from faculty, process for EFMD and ACBSP international accreditations and the activities of the institute. Mr. Arun Padaki, President of Alumni association called upon SDMites to organize meet regularly at different chapters and share ideas through official portals of the institute available on social media. Mr. Padaki opined that such meets and idea sharing will help in launching new initiatives for and of the institute.

The inaugural session was followed by interactive session with current students. The post lunch session had the alumni meeting and discussing the way forward for the alumni to make their presence and contribution felt for the growth of the Institute Overall Pratigam 2015 was a memorable Alumni Meet.
