QS I-GAUGE Rating Awards Ceremony

SDMIMD, the premier B-school in Mysuru, has been awarded the Diamond Rating from QS I-Gauge, the Indian arm of the QS World Rankings (Quacquarelli Symonds, UK), which assesses colleges and universities based on quality parameters. This reflects SDMIMD’s improving standards, dedication to imparting quality education, and commitment to preparing future generations to lead in the corporate world. Dr. S.N. Prasad, the Director of the Institute, stated that this is a collective achievement by the faculty, staff, and students. On behalf of SDMIMD, the award was received by Dr. Mousumi Sengupta, Dean of International Relations, and Dr. L. Gandhi, Associate Professor of HRM, during the award ceremony on 27 June 2024 in Indore.

SDMIMD, the premier B-school in Mysuru has been awarded Diamond Rating from QS Gauge, the Indian arm of the QS World Rankings (Quacarelly Symonds, UK) which assesses colleges and universities based on quality parameters. In the core parameters of Teaching and learning, Faculty quality, Student Employability, Facilities, Governance and Structure, SDMIMD has scored the highest level of Platinum rating. This reflects the SDMIMD’s improving standards, dedication in imparting quality education, and preparing the future generations in leading the corporate world.

Dr. S.N Prasad, the Director of the Institute states that this is a collective achievement by the Faculty, Staff, students. Dr. Srilakshminarayana G, Associate Professor is the faculty coordinator for the QS IGauge audit process.

'Diamond' Rating to SDMIMD by I-Gauge, India

SDMIMD, Mysuru has been awarded the highest level of 'Diamond' Rating among the management institutes of India by the QS-I-Gauge, the India specific rating agency for the Quacquarelli Symonds, London. Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings and the Higher Education Institutes Ranking have universal acceptance across the world in the fraternity of higher education institutions, corporate employers and among the student community. The rating has examined several parameters relevant to management education and given that overall ranking based on an independent study.

It may be recalled that SDMIMD was also awarded the Business School Impact System (BSIS) certification by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) in Jan 2020 and the EFMD Accreditation for the SDMIMD's PGDM program has been successfully renewed in Feb 2020 for a period of 3 years.

It is relevant to mention here that during these COVID restriction months, SDMIMD could complete full admissions for the 2-year PGDM program 2020-22 and the classes have commenced in the online mode.
