Dr. Sunil M.V. is Head-Academic Administration of SDM Institute for Management Development (SDMIMD) and Assistant Professor in the General Management Area. His special areas of interest & teaching are Information Systems and Technology Adoption.  He also teaches subjects in Information Management, Research Methodology, and Social Relevance. 
 
Dr. Sunil has Ph.D. is in the area of Open-Source Software adoption in Library Automation. He is a Master in Library and Information Science and a Master in Sociology. A Certified Fellow by American Association and IIM Bangalore. 
 
Dr. Sunil has more than 20 years of experience in information services and technology adoption. He has been associated with SDMIMD from 1999 in various capacities and positions. He was the coordinator for more than a decade for SDM RCMS, the Research Center, SDMIMD, administering Ph.D. program and publication. 
 
He has published papers in various journals & conferences and published two books. He has contributed course materials for distance education, including GoI’s ePG Pathshala.  
 
Dr. Sunil is a consultant for technology adoption in library and information services for academic institutions, universities, and organizations.
