| On 1 February 2025, Dr. Nataraj R. T. delivered a talk on “OD CONSULTANT / ADVISOR PERSPECTIVE ON ORGANISATION DEVELOPMENT & CHANGE MANAGEMENT” to the second year HR students of SDMIMD, as a part of the “Organizational Change & Development” course. The session focussed on Dr. Nataraj’s professional experience as a consultant and advisor to several family businesses. Dr. Nataraj discussed the issues and challenges faced by a consultant, in terms of acceptability of the consultant's suggestions and the resistance to change among the employees and management. Dr. Mousumi Sengupta, the course faculty, and the students, discussed several aspects of the necessities and feasibility of implementing appropriate OD interventions to bring positive changes in family businesses, during the sesion. |
